What can a 4 year old learn in martial arts?

They are small, full of energy, have an attention span that last 30 seconds, and can be as clumsy as a panda while playing. Our favorite little people are learning fast! They pick up new habits almost on a daily basis. At 4 years old a child’s brain is ready to learn! It’s easy to forget how much they still NEED to learn at 4, almost everything is still in front of them! Kids at 4 years old CAN do our martial arts! We find that it has amazing short & long term benefits for start at an early age.

Some short term benefits arecn learning basic following directions, listening skills, social interaction with other children, and basic motor skills development are some of the short term things they can pick up with in a few classes or weeks of training. The best part is the sooner they do it and the longer they stick with it, the longer it sticks with them through out their life.

The long term benefits for a 4 year old can last a life time. They become confident in who they are through our martial arts training. We provide the opportunities for our student to learn how to succeed and be confident in themselves. They become focused, learning how to pay attention and follow great instruction to be successful. They can learn how to be self disciplined, learning on how to become independent and self sufficient. They learn how to handle themselves for those times mom and dad can’t be there.
